Our team is led by one of the leading microshading experts in the country.
The permanent makeup industry is ever-evolving as artists develop new techniques to provide clients with their desired appearance. One popular procedure is microshading, which is a semi-permanent makeup technique that enhances the look of a client’s eyebrows.
Microshading, also called “powder brows” or “soft tap shading”, is different from traditional microblading in that it produces a softer, powdered effect rather than focusing on creating the appearance of individual hairs within the brow. Here at Sabrina Beauty, we’re proud to offer microshading as part of our line of cosmetic tattooing procedures available in Miami, Florida.
During your microshading procedure, our technician will use specialized equipment to deposit pigment into the upper layers of your skin to achieve the desired shape and effect. Unlike microblading, which uses precise, hair-like strokes to mimic the look of eyebrow hairs, microshading uses a dotting technique to create results that look similar to what you would get if you filled in your brows with a pencil or powder. Those who prefer a more defined brow tend to prefer microshading to microblading, but during your consultation, we’ll review what your goals are to help ensure you get the desired outcome.
The longevity of your microshading procedure will depend on factors like your lifestyle, skin type, and how much time you spend in the sun. You can typically expect to get 1-2 years out of your microshading procedure, although periodic touchups are recommended if you want to keep a defined look.
We’re also proud to offer microshading and other micropigmentation courses for those who want to hone their skills under the direction of award-winning micropigmentation expert Sabrina Rodrigues.
